The chief adviser to the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Joseph Kabila, has been killed in a plane crash, reports say.
Augustin Katumba Mwanke died in the crash in the eastern town of Bukavu, interior ministry official Richard Ilunga was quoted as saying by Reuters.
He said Finance Minister Matato Ponyo Mapo and a provincial governor were also on board but survived.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
